BITM 3RD SEM

The BITM (Bachelor of Information Technology Management) program blends IT skills with business fundamentals. In the 3rd semester, students are introduced to foundational concepts in computing, programming, web design and management. Here’s a breakdown of the subjects:

🧠 What Each Subject Covers

Web Technology I (IT237) introduces the foundations of web development. Students learn to build interactive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML, gaining both theoretical and hands-on experience in client-side scripting and design.

Financial Accounting (ACC 201) provides a solid grounding in accounting principles and practices. It covers the accounting cycle, financial statements, reconciliation, and analysis—helping students understand how businesses track and report financial performance.

Microprocessor and Computer Architecture (IT 236) dives into the inner workings of computers. It explores microprocessor fundamentals, especially the Intel 8085, along with memory organization, CPU design, and input/output systems—laying the groundwork for hardware-level understanding.

Data Structure and Algorithms (IT 238) teaches efficient ways to organize and process data. Students explore linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, sorting, and searching techniques—crucial for writing optimized and scalable software.

Business Statistics (STT 201) focuses on equipping students with analytical tools to interpret and make decisions using data. It covers topics like probability, regression, hypothesis testing, and data visualization—essential for business intelligence and forecasting.
